GIS and spatial analysis in QGIS 3.16 – From basic to advanced

This course provides instruction in geospatial information (GIS) and introduces students to project-oriented remote sensing. This course is based on the latest version of the open source software QGIS, available for free to introduce you to GIS, remote sensing and geospatial data analysis. My geospatial research class provides information on GIS in a short time. By the end of the course, you will gain confidence, an understanding of GIS and technology from a distance, and learn practical solutions to geospatial planning and using data to create beautiful and open maps.

Unlike other courses, my course is based on the latest version of QGIS (long term version), which is more important for learning than spending time and money on older classes as a as adult streaming software. We will start by learning about QGIS open source software, its installation, interfaces and plugins.
This contributes to the performance and clarity of GIS analysis and data types, and to the introduction of remote sensing in the QGIS segment.

It then describes GIS concepts and strategies. Using the example of this project, you will be able to go step by step through how to do a GIS project analysis (basic to advanced) and improve the skills needed to access geospatial project analysis. This is useful because it helps to better understand the geospatial approaches needed to solve GIS tasks related to oriented projects, for example in a thesis or a work. Finally, you will learn to visualize the benefits of your GIS project from a site map.

This course prepares students for the basics of GIS application and remote knowledge with free and open source software tools. You will learn about different industries using GIS and remote sensing including agriculture, geology, mining, hydrology, forestry, environment and more!
