SwiftUI MatchedGeometryEffect Deep Dive: Practical Examples course Description
WWDC20 Apple introduced many new features for iOS 14, and they also added new benefits to the SwiftUI framework. Another refreshing feature added in SwiftUI 2.0 is matchGeometryEffect, which is why this is interesting, because what we also call hero animation is an animation that most apps want to build, but it involves a lot of code.
In SwiftUI 2.0, this can be done in just a few lines of code. Hero animation-One of the most common transitions you see in iOS apps is the transition from one view to another.
It is a pleasant experience to create an experience in which the clicked view is enlarged to become the main view containing more information about the item. As the view expands to display more information, it also maintains the context of the pressed view. With the MatchedGeometryEffect modifier, all you need to do is create two views and let the modifier calculate the difference between these views to automatically transition from one view to the other.
In this course we will learn animation with practical examples. We will start from basics and will create a practical example of a complex photo gallery with complex animation example.
